What past class participants have to say about Shayla
Gillian K
Shayla's Integration course really helped me to uncover underlying emotional issues and helped me to trace the root of some of my triggers and challenges.
More importantly, Shayla gave me actionable tools and processes with what to do with the insights and awareness that I gained. Before this course, I would gain awareness and insights but lacked the skill to integrate the learnings and move forward with healing. I had an incomplete feeling of 'where do I go from here?'.
Now I have tangible, tactical processes to deal with new insights and I'm able to move forward and shed some of the behaviors that stemmed from past trauma, without self blame and shame. I feel like Shayla gave me a blueprint of how to move forward and leverage my learnings.

This workshop (Integration Fundamentals) has been transformational for my personal growth and understanding of my selves (parts).
It was very rough for me during the first few weeks when I would be constantly activated and felt a lot of resistance from my parts along with turbulent emotions.
Now I recognize that my parts felt threatened as I was very harsh and judgmental towards myself & parts.
I am so so glad that I stuck with it and learned so much from this workshop!

Shayla is a great instructor and wonderful at her craft. She organizes and frames information in just the right size pieces so that it’s easily understood. I gained a lot of insight through the integration class.
It helped me to process a lot of things that I had been stuck on or not truly looking at because of fear. It helped me to put down old baggage that I had been carrying for years. It also helped me to see the parts of me as parts and not just one massive knotted up mess.
The methodology that she brings to the class, helped me to understand how complex we are as individuals, and that I could have a conversation with myself and the parts of me that were not ok. This class helped me to process those pieces in a more structured way. I still use the skills that I learned in her class today even months later.
As a lifelong learner you can utilize these skills throughout the rest of your life and apply it to a lot of different things along the way.
I am also a fan of her teaching style as it is a great combination of demonstration and explanation,in a conversational format.
